After Conan the Barbarian showed the world you can make a profit off of an esoteric series of intellectual fantasies so long as you have enough (blog post) gore and boobs to satisfy the masses, Conan the Destroyer showed us just how far a sequel is willing to water down the original no matter how well it did.
